About Patricia -- Curriculum Vitae

Patricia is currently a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology. Her research interests include the phenomenology of complex trauma and the transmission of transgenerational and vicarious trauma. Additional interests include multiculturalism, psychoanalytic thought and the integration of expressive arts in psychotherapy. Patricia is also participating in the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis New Directions writing program.

Professional Background

Patricia is the president and founder of Critical Path Management (CPM) Resources, Inc., a training and consulting company whose core business is helping clients develop organizational infrastructure and human competencies in deep leadership, critical thinking, and collaboration. All of CPM’s programs emphasize the inevitability of change and the various ways in which individuals can lead people and process in transition. Prior to starting CPM Resources, Patricia was employed as a senior consultant for a San Francisco-based project management consulting firm. In this role, she worked with hi-tech, manufacturing, and service groups providing cross-functional team building and project management training and consulting. In 1987 Patricia served as Director of Global Training and Education for a Chicago-based software development company. In this capacity she grew an organization from 'scratch' and developed the infrastructure, curricula, and policies and procedures for leading a global operation along with a worldwide staff of approximately 20 team members. From 1983 to 1999 Patricia served as an adjunct faculty member teaching a variety of communication classes for several colleges and universities including: Scottsdale Community College, Mesa Community College, College of DuPage, Northern Illinois University, Oklahoma City Community College, and Oklahoma State University.

Patricia has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., U.K., Europe and Asia working with multi-cultural clients and employees. Some of the companies she has worked with include: Abbott Labs, Allstate Insurance, Anchen Pharmaceuticals, Banco de Mexico, Bank of Nova Scotia, Copenhagen Bank, Deutsche Bank, Discover Card, Hewlett Packard, Intel Corporation, ING Bank, KV Pharmaceutical, Macau Telecom, National Westminster Bank of England, Novo Nordisk, Resumix Inc., Rabo Bank of the Nederlands, Royal Bank of Canada, Society Generale Bank of France, Sumitomo Trust of Japan, Schein Pharmaceuticals, Verity, Inc., and Watson Pharmaceuticals.
